Ample Appoints Ken Quick as CEO, Expanding Commercial Capabilities

Founding CEO Mark Smith transitions to President

Ken Quick

Ample Agriculture today announced the appointment of Ken Quick as Chief Executive Officer, succeeding founding CEO Mark Smith, PhD. Quick brings more than a decade of leadership experience across agriculture, animal nutrition, and global feed additive markets. Prior to joining Ample Agriculture, he held senior commercial leadership roles at Cargill, a global leader in feed additives. He led the company’s feed additive business across North America and Europe, helping advance commercialization and growth across a broad portfolio of livestock solutions.

“Kenny brings deep commercial experience in animal feed additives, along with a strong understanding of the needs of dairy and livestock producers,” said Dr. Smith. “His leadership will help position the company as we move from early-stage product development into the next phase of growth.” Smith is assuming the role of President and remains actively involved in the company’s technology strategy, research partnerships, and product development activities.

Quick’s career has focused on advancing innovation throughout the agricultural value chain, with a particular emphasis on animal nutrition, producer profitability, and scalable solutions that improve efficiency and sustainability.

“I’m thrilled to join Ample Agriculture at an important stage in the company’s development,” said Quick. “The team has built a strong scientific foundation and a clear focus on developing practical solutions for livestock producers. I look forward to helping advance feed additives that can improve productivity while supporting long-term sustainability in animal agriculture.”
